ABOUT LYNN DAVIS
Lynn’s first camera was a Kodak Brownie and it went everywhere. Those photographs definitely were not professionally taken and film had to developed to see the images. She remembers being excited to open the envelope of developed pictures to discover only a few were recognizable.
She lived in White Mountains of Northern New Hampshire for over 50 years and worked as a teacher at both the high school and college levels. As a retirement gift, she decided to purchase her Canon. The enjoyment of spending time exploring nature led to the creation of Nature’s Foto.
New Hampshire’s mountains, rivers, and lakes provided some captivating shots in all seasons. With her change to grandmother status, she relocated to Maine. The Maine coastal wildlife and views offer diverse photographic opportunities but one has to have patience.
Her work is displayed on glass, matted and/or framed. The photography is used in the creation of note cards and magnets. She is beginning to explore the world of macro photography and refining those skills.
Nature can be peaceful, majestic, and thought provoking; photography captures that moment in time.
