ABOUT WENDY HARRINGTON
Wendy Harrington creates clean, simple and vintage-style journals, unique and handmade. True "Junk" Journals, they are one-of-a-kind, handmade in Hampton Falls in her barn studio. Dating back to 1763, her farm's historic setting inspires a vintage look to each journal. Her Junk Journals allow you to record memories, inspirations, doodles, intentions, lists, photos, and more! She UPCYCLES real ephemera whenever possible, and uses truly "junk" paper, fabric, and lace from thrift shops, estate sales, hand-outs, and yard sales for embellishments. She will do custom orders using your own ephemera and treasures. I have sold over 200 journals, many through my Etsy shop.
She has been a creator with yarn, thread and fabric all her life. From quilts, to costumes, to custom handbags, what a stash of materials she has! She loves ephemera - preserving the treasures of yesterday including old lace, doilies, ribbons, buttons. “Taking an old book that is headed for the recycle bin and turning it into a tactile treasure that can last a lifetime and beyond – that’s a joy for me!”
