ARTIST BIO

Annelisa (Lisa) Wagner is a writer, reader, artist, teacher, wife, mother, and a lifelong learner. She enjoys playing with words and images, separately and together. Her background in art history, psychology, and education provides a foundation for her creative work. She has recently published her first novel and has previously published a short story and poetry. She also writes fiction and creates art for cards and gifts for family and friends.

Lisa grew up in the northernmost part of New Hampshire and moved to Maine 35 years ago. Like the mythic Persephone, she now divides her time between Kittery, ME and Port St. Joe, FL. These unique places and the people who live in them inspire her writing and her art.
